Sayanahi, Seralia Prefecture (Sakura News Center, Belphenia State Television) – A magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook parts of the state of the Seralia Division Saturday morning.
On Saturday morning, at around 7:18am local time, the Belphenia Geological Agency recorded a magnitude 5.1 earthquake with a depth of 5.2 miles (8.3 kilometers) centered along the Jubasha Fault Zone in northern Bluesage Prefecture, and the effects were also felt in Varella, Shishuko Town, Seraphina City, and Yaelian Prefecture.
With the shaking stopped, samurai and pirate guilds announced that in the resort town of Mukabushe, Bluesage Prefecture, buildings, houses, and a number of stores sustained minor to moderate damage in the area.
The tremor also triggered a water main break near Satoko’s Anime Cosplay Store at the intersection of Seralia Division Route 56 and Central Miruka Avenue, prompting local authorities to evacuate tourists, shoppers, and visitors from the Seralia Division’s popular electric district in Sayanahi, Seralia Prefecture. Sayanahi Police have also evacuated shoppers from Satoko’s Anime Cosplay Store as rushing waters floods the anime cosplay store.
In Seralia City, The Shūmokā Tunnel connecting the Seralia Division state capital to Minami Sayanahi was closed to traffic due to a part of a cladding of the northbound tunnel ceiling fell off at around 7:19am but fortunately missed cars were driven through.
In Varella, Bluesage Prefecture, five construction workers were killed and two were seriously injured when a steel beam plummeted six stories down, followed by a crane collapse killing a crane operator during the earthquake at the Makono Highlands Hotel and Resorts construction site, officials said.
Most residents in Varella, Jubasha, and Mukabushe temporarily lost power for three hours. At around 10:45am local time, power was restored.
The Seralia Division Ministry of Infrastructure said that there are no reports of damage to major expressways, bridges, or other infrastructure.
